Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT) combines guided meditation, gentle assisted stretches, and discussion in a one-on-one, confidential environment. The result is a powerful experience that offers you lasting relaxation, release, and healing.
In this workshop, you will learn more about PRYT in a group setting. I will guide you along the way – you do not need to have any previous experience in yoga or meditation, and you do not need to be flexible or limber. This work is about meeting your emotions and your body where you are, not pushing your limits or edges. Learn how a private session will:
- help your body recover from stress.
- give you the focus you need to reach your goals.
- move at your pace.
- not require prior yoga experience or flexibility.
- include guided meditation, practitioner supported stretches, and compassionate dialogue.
- help you listen to the wisdom of your body.
We will begin this workshop with a guided meditation, and then discuss the philosophy behind PRYT. A gentle body-based exercise will follow, which will allow you to experience what is happening in your own body and mind, and apply the principles of PRYT to your experience.
A brief demonstration of a session, along with a question & answer period will conclude the experience. Each participant will receive a voucher for $25 towards a private session.
