Designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, these retreats are based on universal themes, such as healing and forgiveness, and draw from ancient wisdom and contemporary psychology.
Retreat activities vary, and may include periods of gentle yoga, meditation, journaling, expressive arts, and walking meditation. There is ample time mid-day to eat, enjoy a walk (or nap!), journal, or any other nourishing activity. The Center for Mind-Body Therapies provides a beautiful, calming respite from your everyday activities.
Doors open at 8:45am. A light breakfast will be served from 8:45 – 9:15. Retreats begin at 9:30am and last until 4:30pm. Participants bring a bagged lunch and snacks for the day. Water and hot tea are constantly available. The content of each meditation retreat is detailed below. Learn more in the Frequently Asked Questions section.
No previous yoga, meditation, or journaling experience is needed for these retreats. All levels welcome!
