Dorothy Ellis

Dorothy Ellis is an experienced high school English teacher, who specializes in writing, Advanced Placement Literature, and Yearbook Journalism. She loves to share how writing has played an integral role in her healing and in creating her path to wholeness. In addition to her job as a teacher, she is a single mother to three college aged children, and she writes a blog about her path to enlightenment and features her own personal experiences through the lens of humor. She hikes, runs, and practices yoga and meditation. She holds a master’s degree in Humanities, American Studies, and resides in Frederick, MD.
