Deepen Your Mindfulness Practice One Week At A Time. The surface instruction for mindfulness practice is to “be here now.” But there is a lot happening in each moment! Intimacy with the four foundations of mindfulness: body, feelings, mind & dharma, will help you deepen your practice and develop wisdom. This is an excellent follow-up to the four week Meditation for Beginners course led by Frederick Meditation Founder Heather Stang, however no prior meditation experience is required.

This class will emphasize practice as the path to truth, and will rely on our awareness of our own existence as the map. Whether you are embarking on a meditation journey for spiritual enlightenment, or to help manage stress or improve your health, the basic principles discussed in this course will help you take the next step towards your personal aspiration.

The optional companion book to this class is The Four Foundations of Mindfulness in Plain English by Bhante Gunaratana. While not required reading, it will help deepen your understanding of the course material and inspire you along the way.

Participants will receive access to weekly online guided meditations to support creating a consistent home practice.
