Yoga and meditation for grief support services are offered at the Frederick Meditation Center and online by Heather Stang, our founder and the author of the bestselling book, Mindfulness & Grief. She holds a Master’s Degree in Thanatology from Hood College, and is a certified yoga therapist.

Based on what you need when you arrive for your session, Heather will work with you to tap into your body’s inner wisdom so you can release tension and learn how to cope with life after loss.
Topics, time, and days of the week vary from month to month. The Meditation For Grief Workshop is open to people who are grieving the death of a loved one, are experiencing anticipatory grief and/or have a loved one on Hospice care.
This transformative program has been used by countless people to do deep grief work in their own time, while receiving compassionate support from Heather via the online forum, where you can ask questions and share your experience.
An extension of the Meditation for Grief Course, Heather also offers live group coaching sessions online throughout the year. Space is limited, so apply early.
