Meditation Classes

Meditation classes will be offered throughout the year. Our first offering is designed to help you reduce stress and increase compassion during the holiday season. You do not need to have any meditation experience, or have a “calm mind” to benefit from this class. All spiritual traditions are welcome.

About Heather

Heather Stang is the author of Mindfulness & Grief, and the founder of the Frederick Meditation Center. She is a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Practitioner (since 2003) and a meditation teacher and coach. She is also a thanatologist (death, dying & grief expert) with a Master’s Degree from Hood College.

In addition to offering private and group sessions, she travels around the country offering training and workshops through organizations such as the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS – military families), and the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization.
