Hagerstown Meditation & Yoga Therapy

We’re adding a location!

Heather Stang will open a second location, Hagerstown Yoga Therapy & Meditation,  in Hagerstown, Maryland this November. This new space is located at 265 Mill Street, #500, in Hagerstown, Maryland, 21740, and is also home to Susan West of Acupuncture Associates.

This Hagerstown location will be suited primarily for individual Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Sessions, made by appointment with Heather Stang. The process consists of practitioner assisted yoga postures and a dialogue process that is client-centered, open-ended, and non-directive.

“Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is all about empowerment. Whether you want to reduce stress and anxiety, cope with grief, or figure out how to live your life to the fullest, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy can help you get unstuck,” said Stang.

The new location will also offer small group meditation classes. The first class is “Reduce Holiday Stress with Mindfulness & Compassion,” which is offered on Monday Evenings, November 21 – December 12 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. The fee is $90 for the whole course, which includes guided meditations recorded by Stang.

While the Frederick Meditation Center will continue to host larger scale meditation groups with as many as twenty attendees, this new location will focus on Stang’s one-on-one and smaller group courses.

When asked about the inspiration for the new location, Stang commented that as a new Washington County resident, she hopes to serve her community. “I am also seeing more and more clients at the Frederick Meditation Center who are driving in from Hagerstown. I believe they will all welcome the closer drive!” Stang also noted that her new space is located near Municipal Stadium, home of the Hagerstown Suns, which has some family ties. “My great uncle Jim Mills was president of Carolina League, and I remember being there for opening day, so it’s a happy coincidence to have this space near there.”

Stang encourages those interested in to visit the Hagerstown Yoga Therapy & Meditation web site to learn more about upcoming classes or to schedule a private yoga therapy session.
